BESS Daily Performance Calendar
This page shows when the BESS creates value, when it is actively discharged, and when it reduces daily grid-import peaks.
The objective is to understand whether the economic result is distributed throughout the year or concentrated in a few specific days.

1. Daily Net Value
This calendar shows the net economic value generated by the BESS each day, excluding any monthly peak-shaving allocation unless already included in the interval-level data.
It is useful to check whether the BESS creates value consistently across the year or only during a limited number of high-value days.
2. Daily Discharge Energy
This calendar shows the amount of energy discharged by the BESS to serve the site load.
High values indicate days when the BESS was used intensively. This helps identify seasonal operating patterns and periods with stronger arbitrage or peak-shaving activity.
3. Daily Peak Reduction
This calendar shows the estimated reduction in the daily maximum grid import.
The metric is calculated as the difference between the daily maximum import before BESS and the daily maximum import after BESS. It helps identify the days when the BESS contributes most to peak shaving.
